Subject: trading my 2001 605XL Vermeer for the Massey/Hesston 2856A (Image)

Dallas, South Dakota
I am going to my dealer tomorrow to do the paperwork on trading my 2001 Vermeer 605XL accubale plus with 9250 bales on it. It does not have netwrap and thats mainly why Im trading. Been a very good baler otherwise. This new baler I think is going to be quite the deal. It has netwrap and twine and it has the autocycle option and suspension so its a pretty loaded up 2011 model. Also has soft core capability. Im trading for $ 31,200.00 difference. Its gonna be nice to just drive and stop.....drive and stop...drive and stop. Im so used to backing up, shutting off the pto after tying is done and operating the hydraulics to eject a bale that its gonna be like going from a bicycle to a Lincoln Town Car. I will be pulling it with my new to me 8245 Massey tractor instead of the IH 706 open station we used on the old Vermeer.
