So theoretically, a 5/16-32 UNEF or UNS should be the same thing. I guess I don't see how they could be any different. The 5/16" is the diameter of the hole and the 32 is the thread count. 32 threads per inch is 32 tpi no mater what it's called, right? Trying to clean up the threads on a Briggs carb is turning into way more work than it needs to be.
