one of the reasons is the bearings on the bogie wheels last alot longer, track rep had some running in russia wirh 5000 ours on them without being replaced, another reason once you had a set the nest time you odered a new tractor you could just order it with tires and put your set of tracks on new tractor and the dealer would just put your tracks on new tractor and save you money by not havong to buy a whole new set of tracks
I'm guessing a quad trac rep had quads with 5000 hours on the bogies as well at one point in the initial sales pitch......
So your gonna put a wore out set of tracks on a new tractor, one that possibly or more than likely has different hub or bolt pattern size in a couple years??? and your gonna pay the dealer to do this install?
I think a red quad is looking better and better......
are you guys gonna order a red steiger with tires and put these tracks on instead of a real quad?? yeah...right |
