So the weight, compaction and fuel efficiency are the concern.

In this case what are you all using to put beans in the ground?

I am assuming that you justify the compaction when putting beans in but not when putting corn in?

With the split planters being that much of a boat anchor why do people use them for beans? What are the alternatives.







With the units planting their weight is on the ground instead of on the planter frame. In the past lots of farmers used drills to plant beans but I think they are going back to useing planters now with the price of seed where it is.
