Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
When I bought an 80 model 35 GMC pickup in 85, the Trans was so stiff it took both hands to shift it in / out of gear during a starting attempt when the temp was -30F. I suspect that old 4 spd had mineral 90wt GL5 in it. I drained it and replaced the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic 75-90 GL5, Shifts easily at any temp now.

I use the Mobil synthetic 75-90 GL5 in my Crary air reel gear box. It runs much cooler than it did with mineral oil.
