wcoh | Maybe not understanding the question here. Empty weight on each axle really does'nt mean much. Loaded weight of each axle is what will get you in trouble if your over.
Many on here are pulling 38-42 ft trailers with a medium length tractor and getting along well. Each have their own reason for the setup they are running. A friend runs a
real short wheel base tractor and a 36 ft 72in side trailer and loves it. Hauls 1000 bu of corn. Of coarse to DOT likes to stop him too. | |
