Northeast MO | Did our set up on exact same planter with a dual piston John Blue pump and used a ground driven wheel that we added to the rear of the planter. Don't have any pics, but attached a short piece of 7X7 bar to the large tube that is used for rear hitch on the planter, and the drive wheel follows the right behind the transport wheel on the planter main frame. Plumbed the quick fill back there as well, its easy to access and any leaks just dribble on the ground. The drive wheel is adjustable up and down, so when I don't want to use starter, I just pin it up so it wont turn while planting. Worked great. I don't remember what brand the wheel assembly is, but I think it was ordered from the sprayer specialty catalog. | |
