Within a fairly narrow range of concentration, NH3 definitely will ignite, a friend of mine has experienced it.

 

I would not work on one without flushing it and leaving it vented for a good period of time during hot weather.  Ammmonia boils off pretty fast at 100 degrees....not so much when it's freezing.
