the longer I think about it the more I believe it´s just economy at work... If there is a better market place over the pond, that justifies the shipping cost, the goods will go there.
The tractors builtfor the U.S. in Mannheim are built from the same components as the "euro" ones, for sure. Just except of the specific parts mentioned inother posts, for legal reasons (independent hand brake) or customer taste (cab details). Air brakes must be ordered extra here too.
It would be interesting to know the numbers of machines we are talking about? Much of the used west european stuff definately goes to eastern europe.
