Subject: RE: dargo corn heads

I know two Case-ih dealers that sell Drago heads and both of them told me they only sell about one case-ih head a year and the rest are Drago.

I have a non-chopping head and I feel it does an excellent job of reducing shelling in the head and getting down corn like we had this year. For corn on corn I follow it with a Krause Dominator and really don't see the need for chopping stalks. We run our head low to the ground and it takes the stalks down pretty good. It cuts up the stalks just a lttle better than our old case-ih head.

I did have to buy the dry corn kit to get it to feed into the feeder house better.

My main goal is to get grain in the tank. The stalks are a distant second in my priority system.

I have no reason to buy another brand at this point.
