You do NOT need the load sense line. With the line hooked up it will be calling for pressure ALL the time which will leave the line pressurized and make the pump go full stroke making the tractor start hard.

Without a load sense line the power beyond ports will only be pressureized when another scv is activated...in this case running your vac motors. The only reason to ever use a load sense line is if you need the power beyond ports pressurized even when another scv will not be activated. I can't believe how many even technicians don't understand this system.
