They wear out AFTER warrintee expires.

 I HATE the DAMMED things.. Had 1 pu that GM didn't want to disable them, UNTILL I told GM " if your doors are so poorly built they won't stay shut without being locked I DO NOT WANT THAT PU" anymore.

 Amaizing how fast they agreed to disable the  autolocks then.     


 Total PIA on a farm to have to unlock to let someone in or out all the time.  & God forbid if you need to get out QUICKLY because it's slipping off the side of a road & you "really don't want to go down somewhere with the PU"
