I ran a pair of 250 gallon tanks on a 656 IH for several years, rarely put over 150 gallon on a side but it survived. Kind of looked like a pack mule with those big tanks on it. All front axle parts are still original, except tie rod ends, even the wheel bearings. Has about 12,000 hours.
Are saddle tanks hard on tractors?
