Subject: Spaders Catching Chains

My spading closing wheel sometimes catches a drag chain when running in heavy trash. I was considering using a heavy quick tie on one end of the chain to act as a break-away so it would just cut loose and not drag the spader and pile up with stalks.

I'm running one spader with one rubber tire and just love it for no-till. Our soils are a little silty and tend to retain enough moisture to make it tough to close the trench without the spaders.
