Hartsville IN | Consolidated Grain and Barge along the Ohio are making an offer for contracted NonGMO acres. As I understand it, you "only" get 15 cents premium but they'll pay the farmer $100/bag rebate on Pioneer or Beck's seedcorn. My corn has been going to National Starch or Jim Beam. Premiums run .25 to .35 or more usually, needs to be <15%. Currently getting +.20 at the farm. Don't buy any of the brands above. | |
