Hi all,
I am haveing trouble with my 1066 losing steering when started after a long time off or when cold.
I was told to add 5 gal of Hyd oil above the "full mark" as it covers an O ring that avoids losing prime. We did that and seem to work. Now the problem is, it has been a while and when you loose a bit of hyd oil here and there, where on the still should the new "full be? Does it hurt to have too much hyd oil in the rear end?

Thanks

I'm thinking if you filled it to the full mark then added 5 gal, you would be pretty close.
Take a file and mark the stick this time.
If you aren't down to the full mark yet, put a hose in one coupler and the other end in a clean bucket, run the oil down to the full mark.
