I lived in a house on a polished concrete slab for many years. Make sure it is well drained underneath and on high ground so that it stays dry. Mine was unheated and it wasn't too bad but I used rugs in the barefoot areas of the house, bedroom, bath, TV room, etc. I would not want a stamped floor unless it was a very mild pattern.
