Central Illinois
We bought one last fall for a 40k bin. It worked great. The corn was put in the bin at moistures varying from 19 to 13. We already had about 10000 bu in the bin and the fans had been running before it was installed. At installation the corn on the bottom was 13 percent and on top was about 17. They installed the system and we finished filling it with 17 percent corn. We set the bullseye for 14-14.5 moisture. We hauled the bin out in Jan, the bin averaged 14.3. The loads varied from 14.0 to 14.7. This was a bin of white Corn and they like it delivered at 14.5 or below. Also in comparison to several other white corn bins we received at least .15 to .20 more in quality premiums on the bin with the bullseye. We are having another one installed next week on a bin about 45 miles from the shop. Another great feature is getting the grain temps and fan run time texted to you every day. It's a very simple setup that just works.
