SW Iowa | 3176....B model I think. How many hours on the original injectors? How does is start hot now? I sure would not modify the injectors that are in it if they have very many hours. I would start with fresh ones.
Also think about this.....you are in the middle of spring work and for whatever reason, one of your modified injectors goes bad, and you have a dead cylinder. You can't run the tractor like that. How long would it take to get another injector to match? Will you get 7 made and put one in the shop for such instance?
I know of an 85D or E that the customer had a set of new Cat injectors sent in, plus one extra for a spare. I need to follow up to see if they were impressed or not.
