Subject: RE: Kinze planter transport tires

NW Tennessee

IMO, no, it doesn't make much difference. Planted with a 2600 with either regular implement tread or big truck highway tread for 12 years and been planting for the last three with a 3600 and the tires with center groove. I wouldn't turn around for the difference. If the ground is good and dry, it doesn't matter, they will come right on up with either. If the ground is heavy, it doesn't matter, they are going to struggle to come up with either. That problem has been just about my only complaint with Kinze planters.
