You ask some good questions and make some good points. I will have to think about it some more but at first thought, I don't think so. I don't see where any money is destroyed as it is where a fractional reserve loan is paid off. It seems to me money is simply changing from one persons hand to another. That would not be reducing the money supply I do not believe.

Could be wrong though. Tis a puzzlement.
