| Live 1.5hrs east of SF. Not a big fan of the city. South is the Central Coast, have a beach house in Aptos, on the Monterey Bay. Monterey area has lots of sights, wineries, aquarium, 17 mile drive, Carmel by the Sea, Santa Cruz. Hour south of that (take Hwy 1) is San Simeon, Hearst Castle. Paso Robles area has great wineries and another 30 minutes south is San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach area.
Lots to do and see. 3 hours east is Yosemite National Park or Tahoe, both worth the drive! | |
