| Mark, I seem to recall that Indiana recently enacted a law sayng that such memorials could only be in place for a certain length of time & had to be constructed of a material that would not cause damage to a vehicle if hit. You might contact your sheriff's dept or state hwy dept for more info.
That said, I know of two memorials not far from here along a 4 lane state hwy that are made of concrete. Both are in memory of highway workers that were killed on the job. One is quite large and would do considerable damage to a vehicle if hit and had been in place for several years. The other is from an accident this summer & is located in the highway's median. | |
