| a friend of mine plants with a pair of ivt 8295's pulling 1790 16/31's .he had one go down (transfer pump)last spring and rented the same model with a powershift from the local dealer . he said he could fill both tractors up & the ivt would run nearly 9 hrs longer than the ps. i dont know what that figures to but he says he saves enough the first year to pay for the option and every year after that is $ in the bank. i think we are just as efficient running the auto feature and dialing the field cruise in while planting. in heavier loads im gonna say he has an edge with the ivt ramping rpm,s up then dropping back when not needed. opinion's are just like butholes,everyone has one | |
