you have 2 separate issues.

going "sideways" can be linkage adjustment and/or wore bushings on linkages. Try this first, that usually fixes or gets close enough you can live w it. If you have not changed/cleaned the case drain filters there is always the possibility you have hyd pump/motor damage--but linkage would be my guess. Look in book and proceed to clean the case drain filters while in shop.

"creeping" is no big deal, but sometimes take a few tries to fix: it is the "centering" of your steering linkages. You will find springs with cap screws and jamb nuts on them that adjust to hold the sticks in dead center. I never piddle with them anymore w/o changing the springs--sometimes you can easily adjust and sometimes you can fight the adjustment forever if the springs are weak/losing their temper (then you will lose your temper!). I always order new springs and then "center" them. With new springs your adjustment will last a long time. Adjusting the old springs is a crapshoot.
