Utilizing two separate crews of workers, we are considering operating our silage harvesting business 24 hrs/day this fall. So we are seeking some advice from farming operations and custom harvesters that do this, have done it, or people that have worked for crews in the past that did it. Advantages and drawbacks. What shift times worked best and which ones did not work well. Etc, etc.
