ND | I think the head was supposed to be a 1990 model. I've been looking at 925's, but they seem to be quite a bit more in price so it would make sense that they are a newer model. I mentioned a 25 foot to dad, but he thinks it will be too much for the combine, even though it's only an extra foot. I'd personally like to find a head with the poly snouts. One thing I've noticed is that our 220 looks to be in better shape than most of 924's, going by the pics I've looked at. Most of them have dented up snouts and rough paint, where as our head has pretty straight snouts and the paint looks less faided.
BTW: I thought the sickle cut faster on the 900 series, but wanted to verify that. | |
