Richland Center, Wi | The latency from Wildblue was an issue for my wife who works from home. The security protocal for her company required a response from her computer in a very short period of time (I don't remember exactly, but it was in milliseconds). She couldn't get signed on to the company network as a result. The IT folks did a special work around for her---she was the only person in the company (`1500+ employees) who was using Wildblue.
We have now switched to a line of sight ISP---better speed, no more weather- or latency-related issues.
