West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge | Assuming it is the dry brakes, the discs get grooves worn in them where the balls sit, and will hang up. But that is usually shortly after new brakes are installed, and changing direction will free them up. Using a die grinder to smooth and polish the ramps fixes the problem. But your sounds more like something is seizing or sticking if it only happens after sitting overnight. Like others said, check for water(ice) or oil in the housings, and open the drain holes. And ensure that the linkage is returning freely externally. Our 180 is in desperate need of brakes, but I keep procrastinating, stopping is highly overrated. |
