The grass/crp that I have planted was fall sprayed but in you case I would put down 1/2 gal of gly as soon as a warm up and green up happens. Run plenty of water cause its hard to get it all covered. You will have to spray again at planting but should be normal for the rest of the year. Don't know where you are but here you wont want a tall bean because they grow like crazy on the new ground like that. Beans were the best I've ever had planted on old grass ground.
