We got a 2600 in the fall of 2007, there was a run of 2600 that had poor touchscreens. Mine went out after warranty, but Deere replaced the display with what I always assumed is a refurbished one. It has been fine since. There may be some 2007s that never got fixed and the touch screen could go on.
Unfotunately a lot of new features will not work on a 2600 anymore.
