The one thing that I would add to that list is to figure out how you are going to backup the computer. Over time you would be amazed at the amount of valuable stuff that accumulates on the box over time. There are many ways to do it such as an exernal drive or a web based service. In my opinion the most important aspect of a backup is to actually do it. It is not much help when the HDD dies if the last backup was done 6 months ago.

If you have a decent internet connnection I would look at one of the web based services because it is both automatic and off-site. If you don't have a good connection you can buy various solutions that will automatically backup to some form of an external device. If you have to go this way you want to think about where you store the backup. The best case would be to store the backup in a separate location, especially if you are running your business on the computer.

The prime directive from my wife is that I am not allowed to lose our digital pictures :)
