| I will never understand why he had to drive like he did, but as a Governor, he did a lot of good for the state. Jim Thompson probably had a political problem with him, and hasn't gotten over it. Even former opponents had some good things to say about him on the local News Shows. I know one thing for certain. If he had been the Governor of Louisiana, when Katrina hit, there would not have been people stranded on the roofs, while there were school buses lined up and ready to go but not being used. He was very good in situations like that. | |
