Seems to me that information is far more likely to be lost or tampered with on the internet than if it was printed in a book. When has new computer technology ever been backwards compatible for more than a couple years? Remember floppy disks, tape drives, etc. Think of the cost of trying to keep all those e-books and other information in the latest version so that people can access it 50 years from now. Books have been around for decades. What about the dangers of hackers, computer glitches, solar flares, etc, sure it looks like its safe and always available, but there's no guarantee. What happens when some activist govt agency decides that some books (like Huckleberry Finn) are just too dangerous and delete them from the "cloud"....think it wouldn't happen, look at China. Technology is great(when it works).
