We have GSI bins and have similar issues every once in a while. Doing what FarmerFrank has suggested solves the problem for us. I have busted/lost the shear bolt just below the 90 degree gear box on the sweep inside at the center of the bin before which was a welcome fix considering what I thought could have been wrong.
