Rolla, ND | Obamacare really doesn't have much to do with what is being charged. It's a convenient excuse and politically it's used a lot as a whipping boy but the basic thing is a medical system (or lack thereof) that demands huge amounts of money.
While there are some things in Obamacare that might do a bit here and there to control costs, Congress kicked that can down the road and didn't work on the really tough things.
I'm not sure we will see a lot of change unless and until insurance starts to favor medical tourism. | |
