Merkel, TX | We are going to rig up our planter to put out liquid fertilizer this year. Our strip till rig is set up to fertilize right now, but we don't want to spend the money on fertilizer this winter when we make our strips. (drought)
My questions are:
1. How much is too much? we'd like to put 40 or 50 lbs. of N out. Is that too much?
2. With these rates how far away and how deep should we place it?
3. Any good fertilizer coulter recommendations for a maxemerge?
