dont have a recipe, just soak your beans overnight, (some people add a little baking soda, supposed to take out the gas?) put beans, ham bone, and water in big pan and let it slowly cook. Add salt and pepper. I think its ALOT better if you dice up potatoes, add to it when beans about 1/2 done cooking. Make sure you make corn bread to go along with it! I add vinegar to my own soup bowl, the more the better.

You can freeze the bone and use it later if you have alot of left overs now to eat.

Its one of my favorite meals. Good stuff.
