Ohio | This is so true. Went on a fire call once to a brand new home. One of the young ones in the house had got up to go to work , shoved the electric blanket in a pile at the end of the bed. A few hours later we got a call to a house fire. We could not save the house. Becareful with electric blankets and at the least make sure you have a smoke alarm in the rooms where they are being used. A automatic timer to turn them off in the hours they are usally not used may be a good idea . | |
