| We bought a Panasonic Viera plasma a year ago for Christmas. Our reason for going with plasma is they are cheaper than LCD and LED and I feel just as good of a picture. Plasma won't last quite as long though - but my thought process is that 3D will become the going thing in a few years and become affordable about the time this plasma dies. My only dislike about it is the glossy screen - must have it positioned in a way that there are no windows or lights in the viewing angle as there will be reflection. Chose Panny due to recommendation of a Best Buy manager that is friends of a buddy of mine - he said they have fewer returns on Panasonics than any of the brands they sell. Samsung and Sony are reputable brands though and I wouldn't have been afraid to buy either of them. | |
