I've contracted about 35 percent of a crop so far. About 50/50 hill and bottom. Can always get hill planted and have some good bottom that never floods. Not sure where you live but ray-Carroll is pretty good to work with on hedging and contracting. Will let you roll to the next year for .15 and pay the spread if corn is higher. I like buying 4.10 puts right now for .10. Let's you lock in 4 dollar corn for a dime. It will only take a couple things to keep prices up like late planting or drought, but a perfect crop with these acres could bring 3 something corn for Christmas next year. Where do you live gbryce
