I'm not focused real good on what your trying to do. What I'm getting is 700' run with a fall of 6". That is a .07 slope, which will drain water good. In fact if its not covered w/ grass if will probably erode some. If it washes you could put in a spillway of some kind to raise the water level and slow the flow down.

On cross slopes we usually put a .03 grade. Moves the water,but not fast enough to erode.

Your local Soil Conservation Office might help you.
