Eastern Wyoming | I have filed 3 lawsuits in my life... all three were against crop insurance companies. All three were paid without going to court, (settled) they also had to pay our attorney fees. Our attorney took all the cases on a contingency basis, because he knew we would win.
File the suit against the insurance company, if you are sure the agent screwed up. He represents the company.
I wouldn't waste my time with the insurance commissioner, been there, done that.
Hopefully, someone on here will refer you to a GOOD insurance attorney in your area. Also,ask everyone you can think of who they would use, that's how we found our attorney.
