SESD | We do this similar to what you are talking about. We fertilize and work the ground. They plant and spray and combine and anything else they would like to do in the meantime. We get the corn crop off of it. We have to supply some wagons or a truck for them to dump the corn into in the fall which could be troublesome, but we can usually round up a wagon from the neighbors for that. They usually pay us somewhere around $250/acre I believe. Sometimes a hassle working around their plot but i guess it still pays pretty good. | |
