NW Washington | I suspect you are going to have a tough time getting dry peas to ripen and dry down in Illinois. Rain and high humidity tend to cause them to get moldy and full of weeds. They do best in locations where the weather usually get hot and dry when they are ripe, like the northern plains, Western Canada and the Pacific NW. Your herbicide options are limited too. | |
