Subject: Central Plains - how soon for 'fall' burndown

Here we are in December, so the question is really for next year.............

I usually try to spray my gly + 2,4d (for next year's corn and beans) around Thanksgiving or later. Sometimes the weather cooperates, sometimes it doesn't. This year it hasn't yet because we've been fortunate enough to get a couple of rains but also some very windy days. I don't think any harm is done, I'll just catch it later when I can - may be early after the first of the year...........

My question is when do others make their fall application? Essentially, when can I get started? I'd really like to get the first shot on in the fall, but was always concerned about being TOO early.........

Thanks!
