Subject: RE: schlagel closing wheels

West Central Oklahoma
i've run them 5 years on cotton and peanut planter. I've been very satisfied and they helped a lot on crusting issues with cotton. On very shallow planted seeds in sandy ground the down pressure and alignment on the furrow is important i think and might even be difficult to make work in some instance. anything planted about first knuckle deep should be fine. I had to reduce down pressure as compared to the rubber deere wheels.
