Central Indiana
We have tried about everything, but we are now running Valor XLT, Sonic, and Extreme primarily. Valor where we have bad waterhemp, Sonic where there's marestail and giant rag, and Extreme for its safety factor( Pursuit and glyphosate), if its wet and we are planting beans before we can get stuff sprayed we can run Extreme with some more glyphosate, however its quite a bit weaker on marestail than the other two. The key I think is 2,4-D with the burn down. We ran 1 oz of Sharpen with MSO instead of 2,4-D last year on a lot of farms due to being able to plant next day. Really needs good coverage compared to 2,4-D to get 4-6 inch tall marestail. Sharpen is basically only compatible in Extreme and Scepter. Prefix is also a good choice for ares with waterhemp and are safe over the top of small beans but will burn them when it gets hot and dry. Great on waterhemp though.

But its crucial to control small weeds. We have glyph-res. marestail and ragweed in our area, and ALS-res. marestail that are really almost impossible to control without a bunch of different modes of action.
