Hoxie, KS, Northwest Kansas | Mike we run all liquid too. we feel the yield kick comes from the banding of our fert close to the seed. we apply whatever our soil samples come back saying we need. we run a 110 bu yield goal on our sample and it usually comes back with 50-100 lbs N, 20-40 lbs P. but we also throw in some Sulfur and Zn even though the sample might not call for it. 10-34 here has been running 1.10/lb Normal blends are 70-25-0-10 and 1 lb Zn. using 32-0-0, 10-34-0, 12-0-0-26, and whatever chelated Zn we can get. hope this helps. |
