JohnW - 12/3/2011 02:21 Personally, I think shower doors are often more trouble than they are worth. They leak, bind up and get stuck, and then there are water stains to deal with. A good shower rod and curtain works for me and then the wife can buy new curtains and change the design when she sees fit.

Yeah, if she's like my wife, she'll see fit every couple of weeks!  I do agree with you, shower curtain and rod is my choice as well.



I double quoted . .  . wife always had shower doors growing up and in our first home we built, that's what she expected . . .  when we remodeled our second home (moved to different farm/location), I talked her into show curtian - She's the happiest she's ever been, when it comes to cleaning the shower . . . She does throw the curtain in the wash, but after a bit, she simply gets a new one and throws the old. . . .  most sanitay,easy task there is. Plus, she thinks  she has redecorated a bit . .. makes her happy ~
and if Momma's happy, everyone is happy!
